Military Bio Service dates: 1944 - 1949 Comments: I joined in 1944 at 16 and with only one-eye and served as a 2nd Cook & Baker. Crossed the Atlantic a number of times, even went to Odessa Russia twice. In Jan.1988 won my Veterans Status plus Atlantic War Zone and Victory Medals. Served through Dec.1949. Today I am the President of the Juan de Fuca Chpt.Am. I'm very proud of what we who volunteered to operate those delivery ships did for without us none of the other guys would have went anyplace or had anything to do their jobs back during WW2 especially.
