Military Bio Service dates: 26 Nov 1945 - 01 Jan 1969 Comments: Enlisted in the Marine Corps November 26 1945, boot camp at PI.,SC. Shiped out from Camp Pendleton with 93rd Replacement Draft to 2nd Marine Division for occupation duty in Japan. June 1946, shipped out from Sasebo, Japan to North China., 1st Marine Division (Reinf) Pacific. Served with couple line companies as train guard, then a detachment of the 7th Regimental Quartermaster in Teinstin and Chinwangtoa. Shipped out from the port at Chinwangtoa to the U.S. on 1 Jan 1947. Discharged 4 September 1951 from USMC. Enlisted in the USAF from 5 September 1951 to 01 January 1969 and retired. |
